About Us
Hi, I'm Brian, the owner of Blanco Bookkeeping
I was born and raised in south Louisiana, where I earned my bachelors degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University, "Harvard on the Bayou". I moved to Houston in 2000 and have been living here since. I have 2 wonderful daughters and 2 amazing granddaughters (yes all girls).
My career has taken me in a few directions, but all centered around my accounting experience. I worked many years in corporate accounting, mostly in oilfield related companies. I've also spent 11 years in project cost control for a major oil & gas company and moved into business process roles related to my financial software implementation experience. Working in the corporate world was enriching, but I found myself wanting to use my experience to help small business owners find the success that they deserve. It is much more fulfilling to give business owners the support to save money, operate profitably and ultimately grow.
So, I created a small business, Blanco Bookkeeping to support the small business owner and provide a service that allows me to be a part their success. I am located in the northwest side of Houston, near Willowbrook and Champions area.
My goal is to provide a service that will help you have success in sustaining and growing your business through excellent bookkeeping and personal support.
I will provide the day-to-day bookkeeping and support so you will have the time to:
